Since that time Scheveningen is still very popular because of its location on the beach and the historical value. However Scheveningen is more than that; a shopping mall, theatre, musea, restaurants, bars and clubs and even a casino are alll available in Scheveningen. Going out The city centre of The Hague as well as Scheveningen has a lot of restaurants, but a visit to an exclusive star restaurant is also possible. Restaurant Paul van Waarden in Rijswijk, Restaurant Savelberg in Voorburg or maybe even Restaurant Le Cirque at the Circus Theater in Scheveningen. Activities for children Madurodam (a miniature park of the Netherlands) and of course the beach are ideal for the children. Also theme park Drievliet are just a few miles away.Swimming park Duinrell in Wassenaar will definitely amuse the children. Sport and Leisure The area is ideal to explore by bicycle. Small and pittoresque Leidschendam is well worth a visit. In the area there are also many golf courses.
